Bangladesh Team Squad, Team Members & Players for Asia Cup 2018

Bangladesh cricket team is gearing up to take on their opponents in Asia Cup 2018, which is being held in U.A.E in September. Bangladesh Cricket Board has not yet finalized the names for the Bangladesh squad. However, it is being expected the players will be included from the recent tour to Windies. After beating the Caribbean at their home, Bangladesh is eyeing on the title of the Asia Cup 2018. Though, Bangladesh did a fine job in the foreign land however a big adventure awaits them in the future. It will be a big challenge for Mashrafe Mortaza.

Mosaddek Hussain and Sabbir Ramzan will be taking charge in the bowling department. They both need to strike and take early wickets for Bangladesh.

Shakibul Hassan can build the innings in the middle order, however, he will need good support from his teammates to set a good target for his opponents. All things apart, this is going to be a real challenge for the Bangladesh team.

As quoted by Cricdip, board president Nazmul said that Shakib, who flew to the US after returning from Hajj, is likely to have the operation after the Asia Cup.

"I have spoken with him (Shakib) in Medina and he said that he will do the operation after the Asia Cup. I asked him if it is possible to do the operation after the Asia Cup - during the series against Zimbabwe, I feel that it will be more challenging at the Asia Cup."

Tamim Iqbal was the highest run scorer in the Windies tour and he can take charge in the opening slot. His innings will play an important role in the victory of Bangladesh. Moreover, Mahmadullah can hit quick runs in the later innings.
